This is Emma circa 1989. Can you sense her pride in the ensemble? And deservedly so. The jaunty treble clef and neon word bubbles are pretty rad, but no, Emma takes it to the max with suspenders, a neon friendship ankle bracelet, and of course, the skirt-attached-to-pants combo.  ”Hey mom, take a picture of me with this miniature candy bar!”

This is so cute.  and exactly how I used to dress all the time!  …this look has actually made a comeback in a way, hasn’t it? lol
