Those Were the '90s

<3 Ramona Quimby series by Beverly Cleary (1955-1999)  I love these covers.  I cringe a little when I see the new illustrations— they’re so cartoonish.  While I have nothing against cartoons, I miss these beautiful paintings on the Ramona covers.  At least I’ll always have mine ^_^

one of my many well-worn Ramona books.  I think I posted this already, but I&#8217;m getting so excited for the movie that I feel like posting again.  I don&#8217;t know what the Barbie sticker is doing, hanging out there on the cover&#8230;  These covers were the ones I grew up with in the 90s.  I love this style of illustration and I&#8217;m so glad that I still have the whole series with these beautiful covers. I think the movie will be great and I&#8217;m so looking forward to it.  I love Selena and many others in the cast.  Ramona IS my childhood, can&#8217;t wait to see it on the big screen!
