17-year-old Britney promoting her first cd on The Rosie O’Donnell Show (1999).  No matter what she does/has done/will do, this will forever be the image I have in my mind of Britney Spears.  If only she had followed Rosie’s advice.  

PS: I could never figure out why she had such an amazing singing voice at the age of 9 (Star Search clip), and such a nasal voice at 17…

I remember the day they played Rosie, it’s all I could think/talk about at school.

Kids didn’t gaf about music back then, they only cared about toys and they’re 64 packs of crayons.

~This was all I could think about for weeks before and weeks after they were on. haha.  side note: Zac’s voice changed SO much from ‘97-‘98.

we all had Koosh balls, and watched Rosie fling them at her audience every day after school :)
