Board games ruled my existence when I was little. This is what we sat down and played with when we had a few free hours, not xbox or playstation etc. (Bop It isn’t exactly a “board” game but… oh well. haha)

American Girls, pre-Mattel taking over the Pleasant Company in 1998
:(
I grew up with these 5 girls in my life. Now, 3 of them have been retired and the Barbie company is running the Pleasant Company. I don’t know what to make of life anymore. haha

something about this was much more appealing to me than the Easy Bake Oven (which I also loved). I never understood why I liked this so much, especially since I am no fan of real creepy crawly things. haha

The REAL Polly Pocket :D
I walked down the toy aisle in Kmart yesterday and wanted to cry. WHO are these impostors posing as Polly Pocket?? Has anyone seen the “new Polly”? They blew her up and took her little houses away. How can they even put the name Polly Pocket on those awful new things?

I use Tammy here to represent all the baby dolls of this kind (Baby Alive, Baby All Gone, etc.) I loved them all. This was high technology for sure.
(recognize little Mila Kunis there?)

but the very best thing of all, there’s a counter on this ball!
my friends and I were Skip-It champions ^_^
